Canadian Country Legend Aaron Pritchett Celebrates 20 Years with the Release of “The Score”

Having sold tens of thousands of albums in his 20-year career, four time CCMA Award winner Aaron Pritchett celebrated this milestone year with the release of his eighth studio album The Score last week.

A collection of Pritchett’s best work yet, the album’s title The Score was aptly chosen as a playful nod towards the artist’s impressive two decades of making music. Since his very first release Young In Love in 1996, Pritchett’s unique country-rock sound has become a staple in the Canadian country music industry and has landed him on tours with some of the greatest artists in the business such as Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and Toby Keith. Having cut some of country’s biggest hits such as ‘Hold My Beer’ and ‘Let’s Get Rowdy,’ Pritchett has seen over 15 Top Ten tracks to date, including his current song ‘Dirt Road In ‘Em,’ which is his highest charting single in over 10 years – reaching the #1 Canadian track at country radio.

From the upbeat island-flavour of ‘Out of the Blue’ and ‘VW Bus’ to the heart-warming stories behind ‘When A Momma’s Boy Meets A Daddy’s Girl’ and ‘All Night Baby,’ every track of The Score will be sure to score big with fans both new and old. With the help of producer Scott Cooke (Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen, Dallas Smith), this album boasts a strong energy that will have fans reaching to the record for their next summer anthem.

Confirming his status as one of Canada’s most recognized country performers, Pritchett received the surprise of his career when Garth Brooks personally invited him to open the show for his Saskatoon dates. Performing two shows earlier this month, Pritchett took to the stage to sold out crowds in support of the tour.

This is not the last that fans will see of Pritchett this summer. As festival season draws near, Pritchett will be seen on some of Canada’s biggest stages such as The Calgary Stampede and Boots & Hearts. Be sure to keep a close eye on Pritchett’s website and social pages for more information surrounding his upcoming album and futures tour dates.
