Stars of the hit series “Nashville” launched their third U.S. tour, NASHVILLE IN CONCERT presented by StubHub, over the weekend, playing to enthusiastic crowds in San Jose, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix. The tour features cast members Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack and Charles Esten performing original music as well as songs from the hit television series with Will Chase, Jonathan Jackson and Aubrey Peeples joining the tour in select cities.
The tour will head overseas for its first-ever international run in mid-June. Due to phenomenal demand, additional London dates were added to its sold-out run. The international shows feature cast members Bowen, Carmack, Esten and Sam Palladio. Jackson joins for the show in Dublin.
“The ‘Nashville’ cast is comprised of individuals who excel as actors, musicians, songwriters, and performers,” said Steve Buchanan, President, Opry Entertainment. “Since the first night the series went on the air, the cast members have also become incredible ambassadors for our Tennessee home, connecting with viewers around the world via television. Everyone is thrilled about the opportunity to be face to face with our fans throughout the UK and in Ireland during these intimate, exciting performances celebrating the best of Nashville.”
Now in its fourth season, the critically-acclaimed series “Nashville” is set against the backdrop of the city’s music scene and follows Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes. Both women face personal and professional challenges as they navigate their paths as artists and individuals. Surrounding them and often complicating their lives are their family, friends and, in some cases, lovers, as well as the up-and-coming performers and songwriters trying to get ahead in the business. Music City can mean so many things to different people. In “Nashville,” musicians and songwriters are at the heart of the storm driven by their own ambitions. Some are fueled by their creativity and passion for fame. Others struggle to cope with the pressures of success and doing everything in their power to stay on top.
“Nashville” stars Connie Britton as Rayna Jaymes, Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes, Clare Bowen as Scarlett O’Connor, Chris Carmack as Will Lexington, Will Chase as Luke Wheeler, Charles Esten as Deacon Claybourne, Jonathan Jackson as Avery Barkley, Sam Palladio as Gunnar Scott, Maisy Stella as Daphne Conrad, Lennon Stella as Maddie Conrad and Aubrey Peeples as Layla Grant.
“Nashville” airs on six continents and in more than 70 countries, including the United Kingdom, which will air season four this spring. During its third season in the U.K., the series beat the network’s primetime average by 22% and reigned as its #1 10 p.m. show for women 16+ as well as the #2 show at 10 p.m. for total viewers. Since its debut, the show has inspired seven “Music of Nashville” soundtracks as well as a Christmas album, which have collectively sold more than one million soundtracks and millions more single tracks to date.
