REVIEW: Boots and Hearts Part One..

The Boots and Hearts Festival rolled into Bowmanville, Ontario for the third year in a row, once again on the August 1st long weekend. With 35,000 festival goers in attendance (a whopping 10,000 more than last years festival), Boots and Hearts is the largest festival of its kind in Canada.

Campers were allowed to arrive as early as Wednesday evening to set up camp and get the party started. The party kicked off on Thursday night for the eager beavers wanting to start their weekend early with a lineup filled with homegrown talents, Dallas Smith and Brett Kissel. This was just a warm up for the excitement that was still to come.

Audrey McGraw showing that music runs in the family!

Faith Hill & Tim McGraw's 12-year old daughter, Audrey seems to be following in her famous family's footsteps. Calling two country music superstars Mom and Dad, it shouldn't be surprising that Audrey McGraw is a natural born performer herself.

The tween took to the stage for an acoustic rendition of Dixie Chicks' Travellin Soldier before her father Tim McGraw's concert on August 7th in Rogers, Arkansas. The girl can sing!

What do you think? Do we have another star in the making?

REVIEW: Faster Horses Festival 2014!!!

The She's Gone Country girls headed down to Brooklyn, Michigan to check out the second annual Faster Horses Festival. Taking over the Michigan International Speedway, the festival expanded from last year's event to include more camping availability and more attractions. The 3-day event welcomed some of country music's biggest and best to perform to a record number of attendees.

The grounds were packed with concert-goers from near and far decked out in boots and plaid, cowboy hats, camo and fringe (not necessarily all at once, but not necessarily not all at once).
